Announcing our newest program: STARS Encore!
STARS Encore is a theatre program for young adults aged 19-23. This program is a space for post-highschool artists to continue performing in a stage of life where that may not always be easy. Designed to bridge the gap between high school theatre and adult community theatre, STARS Encore is entirely young-adult led. We’re seeking actors, designers, artistic team members, stage managers, and musicians to join us this summer both on and off stage. We hope this program provides the opportunity for young adults to hold artistic leadership positions they may not otherwise have access to.
Our STARS Encore summer musical will rehearse from May to August and will produce a high-quality show fostering a supportive community of artists.
Our inaugural production, running the summer of 2027, will be Merrily We Roll Along, directed by Kate Schlageter-Prettyman.

Interested designers, artistic team members, and stage managers can apply below to join our team. We’re looking to fill the following roles with young adults who will be between the ages of 19 and 23 in the summer of 2027:
MUSIC DIRECTOR
CHOREOGRAPHER
STAGE MANAGER
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER
SET DESIGNER
COSTUME DESIGNER
LIGHTING DESIGNER
PROPS DESIGNER
While prior experience in these positions is not necessary, competitive applicants will have demonstrated leadership experience, a knowledge of the job functions, and the ability to carry out their role effectively with the support of a team.
Applications are due by mid January. Applicants may be asked to participate in an informal interview as part of our selection process.
