STARS is a program created to educate young performers and showcase their stories through theatre, music, and dance. We strive to create accessible classes and performance opportunities that emphasize the importance of youth-centric theatre and art. We aim to promote growth by providing unique theatrical experiences for students of all experience levels. Our goal is to educate and train new artists as well as pre-professionals in a wide variety of techniques and skills that prepare them for various fields. We aim to foster a positive and uplifting environment for students to be able to express themselves freely. We focus on giving our students a voice to tell stories that represent their age and experiences, giving them the tools to create their own art.

We pride ourselves on providing unique, high-quality theatre experiences for advanced young actors. We like giving students opportunities to participate in shows and experiences they wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to. STARS tackles difficult, mature, and relevant content while focusing on safety and growth.

Here are some of the many unique experiences we offer at STARS:

• Our teen summer musical, mounted in just 3 weeks from first rehearsal to opening night, allows teen actors to experience the fast-paced environment of a professional production

• Perform in unique venues and circumstances, including outdoor theatre, immersive dinner theatre, and theatre-in-the-round

• Plays and musicals not often produced in the educational setting due to content, difficulty, or cast size

• Opportunities for student leadership on creative teams and through our educational internship program
